Retirement Brings With It Opportunities To Become A Niche Entrepreneur

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected that the number of Americans over the age of 65 will grow by 77.8 percent between the years 2010 and 2030. Meanwhile, survey data reported last month suggested that baby boomers fast-approaching retirement age might not leave the workforce in the large numbers anticipated by market observers. Retirement is in fact a prime time to consider entrepreneurship, said Susan Friedmann, CSP, the niche marketing expert who created her own niche as The Trade Show Coach and has now written “Riches in Niches: How to Make it BIG in a small Market” to share her insight on how entrepreneurs can find success in niches.
